Corozal Sustainable Future Initiative

MISSION // The Corozal Sustainable Future Initiative is an innovative non-governmental organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of key representative ecosystems of northeastern Belize through effective vigilance, sustainable forest management, scientific research, environmental education, community engagement, strategic alliances and co-management agreements. Our ultimate goal is the creation of new sustainable economic models for the benefit of the people of Belize.


Programme for Belize

MISSION // To Conserve the biodiversity and promote the sustainable development of Belize through the proper management of the Rio Bravo Conservation and Management Area and other lands entrusted to it.


Sarstoon-Temash Institute for Indigenous Management

MISSION // To promote and protect the rights of Indigenous Peoples and safeguard the ecological integrity of the Sarstoon-Temash Region and promote the sustainable use of its resources for its Indigenous People’s economic, social, cultural, environmental, and spiritual well-being.


Southern Environmental Association

MISSION // SEA’s mission as a Belizean non-governmental organization is to continuously work towards improving stewardship and the environmental integrity of key marine areas in southern Belize through effective, collaborative protected areas management, community involvement, and strategic partnerships for the benefit of all stakeholders.


Turneffe Atoll Sustainability Association

MISSION // TASA’s primary goal is to promote the sustainable use and conservation of the marine ecosystems at TAMR (Turneffe Atoll Marine Reserve)  through; management of natural resources, education and outreach, and science for adaptive management. Additionally, TASA has been actively working with all the stakeholder groups, government organizations and other partner NGOs focused on marine protected areas management in Belize. TASA strives to support livelihoods and build economic and ecosystem resilience.


Toledo Institute for Development and Environment

MISSION // To engage stakeholders in the sustainable management of natural resources within the Maya Mountain Marine Corridor of southern Belize for the benefit of all.

VISION // Toledo’s healthy ecosystems support biodiversity, communities and sustainable development.
